Fulfilment Supervisor

**30 hrs over 4 days with a Saturday morning shift on a 1 in 3 rota.**

Working for The Cheshire Cheese Company, based in the e-commerce/order fulfilment department, an opportunity had arisen to join a small team where you will be responsible for the general management of the warehouse team.

**Responsibilities**
- Working in a cold store environment you will be responsible for overseeing the packing of daily eCommerce & Wholesale orders ready for despatch to customers.
- General management of the warehouse team (3 x Fulfilment Operatives).
- Prioritising orders and warehouse workflow to meet demand.
- Generating daily picking sheets and courier labels ready for dispatch.
- Communicating effectively between fulfilment operatives and commercial team, acting as the first point of call for fulfilment team queries.
- Tracking and monitoring warehouse KPIs
- Managing all stock and packaging inventory, including rotation and stock-taking, reporting weekly or as when a problem arises, as well as managing the month-end stock-take.
- Managing resends and order queries with the Customer Service team in a timely manner
- Co-ordinating both courier and customer collections from the warehouse.
- Acting as the main point of contact for all Warehouse computer system queries, ensuring information is accurate and issues are raised to the appropriate team in a timely manner.
- Supporting with order fulfilment as and when needed - involves reading and understanding orders accurately via paper and electronic devices.
- Assisting with bulk order packing for wholesale customers.
- Overseeing fulfilment team, including administering timesheets, holidays and queries.
- Setting and maintaining standards for packing and managing dispatch guidelines.
- Follow GMP standards and H&S requirements and manage issues internally.

Similar experience will be beneficial however full training will be given.

**Desirable Experience / Qualifications**:

- Experience of working with an FMCG/eCommerce environment.
- Experience of working in a Warehouse & Packing environment.
- IT literacy, ability to understand on-line orders.
- Good Reading skills.
