Assistant Greenkeeper or Apprentice Greenkeeper

Callander Golf Club was formed in 1890 and is situated in the Trossachs which is widely regarded as the gateway to the highlands. With stunning views from all over the course it could be said that it is one of the most picturesque courses in the area and this in turn leads to many visiting golfers on a yearly basis.

We are seeking a highly motivated individuals to join our greenkeeping team as an assistant greenkeeper, Apprentice greenkeeper or seasonal greenkeeper who will play an important role in ensuring that the golf course is maintained to the highest standard.

**THE DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Mowing greens, tees, approaches, rough and semi-rough.
- Scarifying/Verti-cutting and aerating turf
- Irrigating turf
- Identifying and controlling weeds/pests
- Identifying and control of turf diseases and disorders
- Changing holes
- Maintaining Bunkers
- Moving tee markers
- Preparing machinery for use
- Undertaking routine machinery maintenance

- Ability to work in a team and on your own

- Willingness to learn and commit to continued professional development
