**Job Summary**:
Regular roster of 4 on 2 off shift (06:00 - 14:30 or 08:00 - 16:30), Overtime rate of 1.5, Free onsite parking, complimentary meals and refreshments, free uniform, free life insurance, company sick pay, pension scheme. Full time opportunities available

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- To work in the kitchen area preparing and cooking food according to assigned recipes.
- Working in the Order service kitchen preparing and cooking food components under supervision.
- Packing and labelling of hot meals ready to serve
- Working with Commis Chefs and Chef De Parties to prepare meals
- Adheres to HACCP and regional safety regulations in compliance with gategroup policies and procedures.
- Responsible for safe and clean workstation and equipment at all times.

**Qualification and Education**
- ** Education**:

- Educated to GSE or ‘O’ levels;
- Basic Food hygiene training/certification is desirable
- A recognized City & Guilds qualification or NVQ Level 2 for a Chef is desirable
- Work Experience:

- Some relevant experience of volume cooking in a hotel/restaurant/airline environment is desirable but not essential
- Skills & Knowledge:

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment using own initiative
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Accurate/detailed focused
