An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content Specialist to join the team working on Savings products. The team is responsible for delivering high-profile content changes to our public and secure websites. This includes our core brands like Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and MBNA.

**Job Description**:
As a Content Specialist, you'll craft and implement changes to our websites. This can range from small content edits to whole journey redesigns. Your goal is to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. You'll need to consider user experience, design principles, brand guidelines, accessibility, copywriting standards and wider business requirements.

All our website changes need to be accurate, compliant and fit for purpose, so attention to detail is important. You'll work collaboratively with business partners and obtain formal approval where necessary.

You'll have a deep understanding of Content Management Systems, significant experience of crafting website content and a passion for everything digital

So what will you be doing?
- Delivering timely and accurate changes to the content on our websites.
- Seeing opportunities to improve the web pages that you work on. For example, making the information easier to understand.
- Assessing partner requests and turning them into suitable website updates.
- Making sure our websites align with internal and external standards. For example, brand guidelines, tone of voice, Equality Act 2010, WCAG 2.1 and FCA regulations.
- Providing consultancy services for customer experience, UX, usability and accessibility across the wider business.

The skills and background you'll need:
Essential:

- A real passion for identifying customer needs and coming up with solutions.
- An ability to craft great customer experiences.
- An understanding of Content Management Systems and UX principles.
- A proven track record of writing customer facing content.
- Experience of working on multiple priorities in a dynamic delivery environment.
- Keen problem solving skills, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Adept at establishing and forming relationships with colleagues.

Desirable:

- Experience of using Adobe Experience Manager and Teamsite.
- An understanding of accessibility standards.
- Ability to interpret HTML and CSS.
- Practical knowledge of search engine optimisation and writing content with this in mind.
