Eriez Europe designs, develops and manufactures industry-leading magnetic separation, metal detection, fluid recycling and vibratory equipment for over 80 industries. We are a multinational company with our European headquarters having been established in the Caerphilly/Bedwas area for over 50 years.

**About the Role**:
The Marketing Assistant's primary responsibility is to support the development and implementation of a full marketing mix to promote Eriez products, services, and brand. They will also be required to provide assistance with various administrative matters relating to sales when required/during busier periods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing a comprehensive marketing plan, tracking spending and updating marketing budgets
- Assisting with production and inventory of marketing materials
- Drafting technical copy for various types of media to tight deadlines
- Working with translation companies to organise the creation of the above media in various languages
- Building and maintaining relationships with press and media contacts
- Supporting the organisation of exhibitions and conferences
- Monitoring and analysing incoming leads, measuring return on investment and ensuring they are adequately followed up by the sales team
- Proactively searching for prospective customers using a variety of tools
- Performing competitor analysis and maintaining up to date market knowledge using a number of tools including Google Analytics
- Communicate with Eriez representatives, internal colleagues and the wider sales team and supporting/fulfilling their requests
- Liaising with outsourced companies and third party vendors
- Maintenance of the CRM system for sales and marketing functions
- Contribute to the company’s social media content to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
- Constructing quotations and reports when required
- Enquiry and order management, including inputting and updating records

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of CRM systems and SEO would be advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Windows Movie Maker is essential
- Experience using photo editing software
- Negotiation skills - able to negotiation and secure marketing purchases
- Copywriting skills
- Confident managing multiple tight deadlines
- An excellent communicator, who is highly organised
- Some travel may be required in this role, so you must be flexible

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
