**About The Role**:
Are you an expert in marine fisheries? Due to the significant expansion at APEM Group and the successes of our team, we are seeking an Associate Director with a marine fisheries focus. We're looking for someone with a passion for excellence and a proven track record in developing small teams. Join us, and over time, you'll become the lead expert on large-scale projects, collaborating with multiple teams across APEM, situated in different locations. Your team will operate autonomously, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work, supported by Principals who uphold the highest standards of scientific rigor, thereby enhancing APEM Group's reputation. This role will afford you the opportunity to focus strategically, actively scanning the horizon for the next advancements in marine fishery science or project requirements.
To apply, you'll need:
- A strong professional track record in delivering marine fisheries ecological project work.
- Ideally gained through consultancy work, you should possess an excellent understanding of marine fisheries ecology and assessment and associated legislation, coupled with relevant commercial awareness.
- Moreover, previous experience in organizing and coordinating marine fisheries surveys, along with proficiency in both completing and reviewing others' work for fish and shellfisheries chapters of impact assessments (including HRA, EIA), is required.
