**Accounts Assistant**
- To assist with preparation of daily receipts of cheques and cash ready for banking, ensuring that information is correctly logged in the relevant accounts.
- To send out receipts for payments where requested and return any incorrect cheques for amendment, noting actions taken.
- To pass all paperwork accompanying payments to the relevant members of staff to deal with any other issues raised.
- To input payments made by Standing Order or Direct Credit from the information given on each Management Company’s bank statement ensuring accuracy when logging details, meeting deadlines appropriately
- Preparation and reconciliation of year end accounts on both database and Qube, collation of all invoices, bank statements, annual return and companies house forms, paying in books and cheque stubs.
- Sending accounts and income and expenditure lists to Directors of each company for signing
- To assist with the updating of systems with new owner details and to send introduction letters to new owners.
- To promote a positive and helpful image for the company and to help maintain a quality service.
- To assist in answering telephone calls from customers entering accurate information on the Qube.
- To become proficient in the use of relevant computer packages, undertaking additional training if required.
- Establish and maintain effective communications with other staff in the company to ensure liaison and co-operation in all matters.
**Accounts & Office Administrator Person Specification**
- A good general education, A-C grades in Math's and English or equivalent is necessary.
- Experience in working in an accounts and purchase ledger environment is necessary
- Experience with Microsoft Office Packages is essential and Qube software would be an advantage.
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident and reliable

- Ability to use initiative and prioritise workload
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team, willingness to be adaptable and flexible
