Global Accounting Network are partnering with a sports organisation based in Milton Keynes who require an interim Head of Finance to join on an initial 6 month contract. The organisation has been through a period of change with a restructure ongoing andthis position is potentially temp to perm as result.

As the Head of Finance, this position reports directly into the CEO and will present to board level on a regular basis.

Main responsibilities:

- Oversee the day to day finance function including month end, quarterly reporting & year end
- Prepare & review management reports
- Produce cash flow & treasury reports for board
- Oversee an outsourced finance function
- Prepare the annual budget & enhance the 3-5 year model
- Drive improvements within the financial system
- Partner with the Chief Exec & senior management
- Provide robust financial reporting & analysis to the board & assist implementing a strategy to ensure the long term plans are hit
- Ad hoc finance reporting & planning tasks
- Qualified Accountant
- Combination of hands on for month end, but also the ability to oversee a finance function
- Brilliant communication skills & prior experience working with board level
- Prior experience leading a budgeting & forecasting process
- Prior team management
