Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Server to join our team.

We are a small but busy family run restaurant located in Cardiff City Centre, so if you are not local you would need to be able to get the last bus back to your locale.

We are open Tuesdays to Saturdays, 12noon until 11pm. We are closed every Sunday and Monday, so these are fixed days off for everyone.

We provide on the job training to all new staff, but experience in the industry is greatly appreciated.

Knowledge of the Italian or Welsh language preferred but not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficiency of service
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area
- Handle guest queries and concerns with tact and professionalism
- Process payments accurately using basic maths skills

**Requirements**:

- Very good spoken English language skills essential, as the majority of our customers communicate primarily this way
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to assist colleagues in various tasks around the restaurant

Pay: £8.60-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 39 per week
