Services Trainee

**Services Trainee**

This job will involve valeting and maintenance of a variety of different yachts and motorboats on the south coast. You will be based out of Hamble but our work takes us to a number of beautiful marinas along the coast. No prior experience working on boats is needed however prior training is welcome.

**Responsibilities**:

- Detailed boat washing
- Interior cleaning
- Machine polishing and waxing
- General maintenance
- Removal and re fitting of boat systems and fittings
- Removal of decks
- Fitting of Flexiteek 2g synthetic decking
- Antifouling and yard work
- The moving of vessels
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to listen and learn
- Good time keeping
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.18-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamble, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
