Murray McIntosh are pleased to have partnered with the pioneering and visionary charity, the Royal Academy of Engineering, who are looking for a Senior Programme Manager to shape, deliver and evolve a completely new, innovative programme, working on technologyfutures and public dialogue.

Tackling the greatest challenges of our age, they're growing talent and developing skills for the future, driving innovation and building global partnerships, and influencing policy and engaging the public. This programme has significant potential to deliveron the Academy's objective of building an inclusive economy.

Working with the Policy team and an expert steering group this new programme will explore technology trends that could impact on our ability to reach net zero, and therefore the Academy's objective of a sustainable society. It can serve both by identifyingopportunities and trends relating to health; societal resilience; and infrastructure systems that serve everyone.

**The role**:

- Developing programmes, projects and activities that enable the Academy to support meaningful innovation and seeking real and meaningful impact for these programmes, by developing and implementing realistic theories of change
- Commissioning futures and dialogue activities with expert providers, overseeing scoping and delivery in order to support meaningful dialogue, deliberation and community engagement activities
- Identifying partnerships and collaborations and build specialist knowledge of how engineering, research, innovation and systems approaches can contribute to tackling complex societal challenges
- Developing and maintaining all processes and systems to include risk identification, budgeting, stakeholder and consultant management
- Representing the programme at meetings and programme-related events with senior stakeholders

**We're looking for**:

- Substantial experience of project management and programme design
- Experience developing and managing relationships with a wide range of partners
- Evidence of designing and delivering events, initiatives or programmes for expert audiences
- The ability to understand and mobilise technical information, in order to develop accessible and inclusive dialogue
- An open minded and inclusive approach to the field of systems and innovation methods
