We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Officer to join our team and play a key role in the smooth running of our charity and trading subsidiary.

As Executive Officer, you’ll provide personal assistant support to the Chief Executive, alongside high quality administrative and governance support to the Board of Trustees, the Executive and Leadership teams. You’ll also ensure compliance with our legal and regulatory responsibilities as a charity and our governing documents and policies, ensuring all relevant records are maintained. As a membership charity, the Executive Officer plays an important role in ensuring the organisation maximises the active involvement and support of its trustees, staff and Friends Group.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

- Previous experience of planning meetings and providing excellent administrative and personal assistant support
- Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to proactively engage with people at every level of the charity
- An enthusiasm and motivation for libraries and our charity’s mission to enrich lives and build thriving communities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
