Steel Erector

Harry Maiden Limited is an established firm of steel fabricators and welders serving the East of Scotland. Originating in 1920s, it became a Limited company in 1965 and continues to be a family owned company. Clients include local authorities, oil and gas companies, pharmaceutical & building contractors.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Erection and fixing of steelwork in line with supervisors instruction, drawings and specification.
- Maintain a high level of finish and attention to detail.
- Liaise with project and site management.
- Plan ahead & Problem solve.
- Work in accordance with PTW system, RAMS and Lifting Plans.
- Work safely and have regard for the safety of others on site.
- Follow company QHSE policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate ‘Personal Protective Equipment’ at all times.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Use of hand tools.
- Use of appropriate plant & equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- CSCS card.
- Safety at heights/harness certificate.
- MEWP Operators Licence.
- Slinger/Signaller Licence.
- PASMA Certificate.

Working hours are 07.00-17.30 Mon-Wed & 07.00-16.30 Thurs. Overtime as required.
