**Hours**: Part time, 10 -16 hours.

**Job Summary**

Gymophobics Darwen provides fitness, diet, health and lifestyle engagement and advice for ladies of all ages (13- 93). Employees are integral to its success. They must always present a welcoming, professional face to the public and show high levels of motivation and enthusiasm, in order to guide each member to achieve their personal goals. We are a highly motivated, well organised and positive organisation, presenting high standards of customer service and dedication to the needs of each individual customer.

No experience is required as full training will be provided.

**Roles and Duties**
- Welcome members with a big smile and a friendly greeting on arrival
- Provide inductions, health check, exercise regimes and weekly weigh ins.
- Supervise the gym floor, offering help and support to all members.
- Advise all members on technique to ensure that they are getting the best from their workout.
- Create a buzz on our gym floor engaging all members in conversation.
- Provide regular progress reviews to all members when required.
- Promote healthy living and offer advice and support on diet and home exercise.
- Book sessions for members on request
- Answer telephone enquiries and bookings.
- Record member attendance on the online database.
- Help to generate and engage in promotional activities, outreach marketing and up-selling.
- Support and promote membership sales.
- General housekeeping - ensuring that the gym always looks its best.
- Opening and closing of the facilities.

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**

**Essential**
- Confidence in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, on the phone and via technology
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Willingness to attend training opportunities as part of agreed personal and company development
- Ability to travel independently to training days in Stafford
- Willingness to help people change their lives for the better

**Desirable**
- Level 2 qualification in Maths and English preferred

**NOTE**: New employees attend the company’s initial 4 day training course, facilitating them to deliver all aspects of the job. This will be from 9th - 12th May 2023.

Ongoing training in all areas of the business is organised throughout the year - both on site and at the Gymophobics Head Office.
