Grounds Maintenance Operative

Responsibilities:

- Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems or other landscaping projects
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Use hand tools to perform tasks such as pruning, weeding, and raking
- Assist in the construction of landscape features such as walkways or retaining walls

Qualifications:

- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools and equipment
- Ability to dig, irrigate, and maintain gardens and lawns
- Experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
