As our Administration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our office and supporting various departments. Your attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and proactive attitude will contribute directly to success.

Job responsibilities:

- To process all incoming post and action appropriately within the scope of the delegated authority from the Board of Trustees.
- To undertake all electronic and paper filing, including creation and closure of legacy case files.
- People come first. Ensure that bereaved family members are always our priority, and we approach them with empathy, patience, and compassion.
- To spot and escalate contentious, litigious, or problematic issues to the Legacy Administration Manager or Head of Legacy and Supporter Care as required.
- Undertake regular data cleansing to ensure accurate reporting from the Legacy Administration Database.
- To ensure all data (electronic and paper) is appropriately prepped for archiving and retention.
- To embrace a safeguarding culture where everyone has responsibility for the safeguarding and well-being of vulnerable adults and children.

Skills required:

- Experience in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
- NVQ3 Business Administration Qualification or Equivalent.
- Knowledge of the administrative steps following someone’s death.
