**What you’ll do**:
You will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative, process management, and project support. This role is vital for the smooth running of the Ecommerce team and you will be involved with the coordination and implementation of processes and projects within the team.

You will gain valuable skills and experience in all aspects of Ecommerce and Project Management including:

- Understanding the consumer journey and having the ability to identify data points to provide commercial insights to improve the business.
- Regularly perform site walks to ensure it is optimised for customer journeys, identifying any errors or friction points, and communicating to the relevant teams
- Attend and contribute towards trade analysis for senior stakeholder meetings
- Conduct competitor analysis both in and out of industry and offer recommendations and findings.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders both within Volvo Cars UK and within Central Teams
- Understanding of the full trading funnel to be able to identify opportunities.
- Obtain an understanding of Project Management by supporting the Ecommerce Planning and Strategy Team
- Gain competence in the daily usage of software such as Miro, Slack, Notion, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Supporting the wider Ecom team in adhoc tasks and projects

**How to learn more and apply**:
Our placement is open to any university student who is in their penultimate year of a sandwich course (those who will be returning to their final year of study after their placement with us). We have a duty of care to our people and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our undergraduates to be based within a reasonable radius of our Maidenhead office.

Once you have applied, you will be asked to complete an online video interview so that we have a chance to get to know a little more about you. You will then be sent some online competency assessments that are relevant to the role for which you are applying. Upon successful completion of these, we will invite you to an assessment centre where you will meet the hiring manager, view what our workplace has to offer, meet the team and answer any questions that you may have. A decision will be made shortly after.
