Gardening Assistant

Garden maintenance assistant required 5 days a week, 8am to 5pm until 29th October, then 8am to 4pm, with half hour for lunch. Immediate start, job will last until late December.

Duties will consist of hoeing borders, edging lawns, raking and bagging debris, mowing lawns, hedge trimming, loading and unloading equipment from truck and various other gardening related tasks.

Work is very physical and you will be expected to work at speed and some heavy lifting involved. You will be working as part of a team and be dealing with customers, so you need to possess a polite, friendly, honest disposition.

You will be expected to work in all weathers.

Strictly no mobile phone use other than break times or driving between jobs.

Some experience of outdoor work preferred.
