We have an exciting opportunity to join **Transpennine Route Upgrade** as **Information Controller**

**Transpennine Route Upgrade**:
The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) is a Programme of activities that is improving the railway between York and Manchester via Leeds and Huddersfield.

Stretching across the North of England, this key 76-mile Transpennine railway serves 23 stations, crosses over and dips under 285 bridges and viaducts, passes through six miles of tunnels, and crosses over 29 level crossings.

Proposed improvements as will deliver a hard-working, reliable railway for passengers, allowing for trains with more seats, more services and faster journey times.

**Brief Description**:
A typical day would include managing and configuring data systems, supporting internal and external team members with queries and troubleshooting, and engaging with discipline leads to drive improvements and share knowledge.

**About the role (External)**:
**Some of the key accountabilities of this role are**:
1. Approve processes, procedures and systems to maintain effective information management and document control.

2. Monitor adoption of information management and document control processes within programme and project teams.

3. Monitor the Common Data Environment (CDE) so that it is available to the programme within agreed timescales, maintaining conformity of approach, consistent configuration of systems and standard accessibility of documentation.

4. Enhance & maintain good practises for CDE user management.

5. Support to Information Manager and the wider Information Management team.

6. Support programme controls reporting.

7. Provide Advanced/Admin level training to supplier Administrators and Document Controllers.

**We need you to have**:

- Relevant successful experience in the management of information and documentation in an engineering project environment.
- Knowledge of engineering data management systems.
- Knowledge of project management processes.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.

**It would be advantageous if you have**:

- Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise, SharePoint and Microsoft Power products such as PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps etc.
- Knowledge of the Railway Industry.
- Knowledge of Network Rail’s investment processes and procedures.
