Jamieson Contracting is a multi-disciplinary construction/engineering company based to the North West, undertaking projects in both public and private sector businesses across the country. We have built our successes on a forward thinking, modern approach to construction, which we reinforce with a solid foundation of traditional values that we stand by.

The company has enjoyed significant growth over the past few years and have secured a full order book through 2023 and into 2024. To help continue this growth we are looking to recruit a bid writer to be based at our head office in Hyde, Greater Manchester.

Job Requirements:

- Prepare the quality responses on client tenders
- Updating case studies
- Updating staff CV’s for tenders
- Update social media channels
- Assisting the marketing of the company
- Client relations Reading and understanding pre-qualification, framework or tender submission documents
- Reporting to directors Collate KPI’s for existing frameworks Prepare and distribute monthly well being
- Marketing of company
- Planning social value events for the company

Essential Skills required for the role:

- 1 year + of bid writing experience
- Client focused Excellent writing skills
- Working under pressure and to deadlines
- Constantly strive to improve bids
- You will be able to multitask and prioritise your daily workload
- You will have excellent analytical skills to assist in the breakdown of framework specifications, bid packs, and ITT documents.
- Good Working knowledge of MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, Publisher
- Excellent Communication
- Desirable Experience of the Construction Industry
- Driving licence
- Experience in MS Publisher / In Design or similar
