The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) are looking to recruit a Consultant Geriatrician to join our existing Department for Medicine of the Elderly (DME) team as we look to build on our recent expansion and successes.

The organisation was formed on 1st July 2018 to bring together our five hospitals in Derby, Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth to provide the highest quality care to patients across southern Derbyshire and south east Staffordshire.

The post holders' base will be at Queen's Hospital in Burton upon Trent.

DME at UHDB has developed and expanded considerably over the past 5 years. At the Royal Derby Hospital site there are12 Consultants and4 acute inpatient geriatric wards and at Queen's Hospital, Burton we have 4 Consultants and 2 acute inpatient geriatric wards.
