Sports Coach

Our exciting company Vara Sports & Education is looking for someone who is passionate about sport and coaching children. We want an enthusiastic sports coach who can motivate and inspire our wonderful children to get active and enjoy sport.

This role is unique, you will be the school's PE teacher Tuesday to Friday and a class TA on the Monday. During the holidays, you will be required to coach at our sports camps.

Vara will also pay for any training and also help you gain more qualifications alongside your job.

**Hours & Days**

**Monday-Friday (5 days)**

**8:30am-4:15pm**

**Pay £20,000.00**
- Running a sports club at lunch and after school club/Breakfast club
- Ensuring all children are engaged, safe and having fun
- Planning PE sessions
- Assisting the class teacher on a Monday

We need our TA/Sports coach to have the following skills:

- Knowledge and experience of a wide range of sports
- A good communicator and motivator who develops positive relationships with children
- A team player who can work flexibly and reliably
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
- An inclusive approach to sport
- A professional manner

Desirable:

- A level 2 or above in any sport or a degree in sport
- One year experience in a school environment
- An online DBS/Update Service (However, a new one will be provided for you if you are successful)
