Twickel Dental in Much Wenlock is looking for a passionate, communicative and meticulous Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic, patient-focused team. With a predominant focus on private dentistry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Answering the phone: Providing a friendly and welcoming voice for the patients, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments

*Bookings/Confirmations of appointments: Efficiently manage the appointment book, confirming appointments with patients, taking payments and ensuring schedules are optimized
- Diary management: Organize and maintain the dentists schedules, ensuring the practice runs efficiently
- Recalls and Follow-ups: Assist in patient recalls and follow-up procedures to ensure continuity of care
- Compliance: Maintain and update checklists and logs to monitor patient records and treatment plans
- SOE Software Knowledge (preferred): Proficiency in the use of SOE dental management software is preferred, but not mandatory

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a dental receptionist role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in computer, office software and SOE dental software
- A friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for patient care

We will be offering you a competitive hourly rate based on experience level and performance.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8.45 am to 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch / Overtime occasionally

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Telford, Shropshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Receptionist: 2 years (required)
- Dental receptionist: 2 years (required)
