**About the role**:
The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is working with residents and local stakeholders to make our borough inclusive and Autism friendly. We are building strong partnerships with organisations who have a track record of creativity and innovation and shaping integrated, high-quality services focused on independence, choice, and control.
We have a vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant Post, to work with residents who have Learning Disabilities, Autism, Complex needs, and their families at the Ashchurch Centre W12, and Rivercourt Short-Break Service W6, The Services support residents to have a full and active life and access to leisure, lifelong learning, employment, social and creative programmes which includes transition work with our Local Schools, and Colleges.

The role will be supported by a Service Manager, 2 x Deputies, Senior Support Worker alongside other Supporting Staff/Teaching Assistants, and with our families to grow our Services.

The Kitchen Assistant Post:

- To deliver a domestic and catering service to our Residents, and ensure the efficient operation of the dining facilities at the Ashchurch Centre for visitors to enjoy.
- The post will be 20 hours per week - Monday - Friday - There may be events that will need staffing in this area, and this could be in an evening or weekend.
- To work along side parents in the Service, and support residents to make choices, and support menu Planning.
- To exercise exceptional time management, and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about Learning Disabilities, autism and residents with complex needs, who will be committed to working alongside families co-produce all elements To promote a Resident focused service that meets Residents’ diverse needs through equal access and inclusion and to actively promote service development in line with Hammersmith & Fulham Quality Assurance standards.
