Handyperson

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Handyperson to join our Facilities Management team on a permanent basis working at a university accommodation block in Brighton. Working 35 hours per week from 10.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday.

**The role**:

- Reporting to the M&E Service Manager
- To provide front line customer service support
- To assist with handyperson and basic carpentry tasks including fabric repair and painting
- To undertake maintenance technical duties that are within training and competence, both as planned and reactive works
- Proactively and continuously undertake sweeps of the building, looking for service needs for customers
- Order materials and services as needed
- Working 35 hours per week from 10.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday

**The person**:

- Will have prior experience of maintenance / building services
- Will be proficient in painting and fabric repair and ideally have basic carpentry skills
- Able to work within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team or alone
- Able to use own initiative and work with mínimal supervision
- Flexible with good customer service and communication skills
