Maintenance Handyman/woman

A Maintenance Operative is required for our Nusing Home near Farnham Station.

We are looking for a competent person and duties will include interior and exterior decorating, gardening, basic plumbing, cleaning and the ability to carry out checks and repairs so that we keep our care homes pristine and also fulfil our statutory Health and Safety obligations.

You will be tidy, a quick thinker, a problem solver and methodical together with a very good understanding of health and safety. Your ability to provide accurate and clear records is important.

We require a you to be physically fit as the role involves some moving of furniture, up ladders, clearing drains and soil pipes, painting and decorating and hanging pictures. Mending leaks. You will have the ability to change taps and maintain TMVs.

You will be organised and a finisher so the ability to plan and finish a project is essential.

Own tools essential.

Polo Top Uniform supplied.

A flexible approach to working hours will be required within your working week as you will need to respond to any emergency should they arise.

Your normal working week will be 5 x 7.5 hour shifts per week across 2 to 3 homes. All our homes are within 10 mile radus of Camberley.
