A construction contractor who are well known across Yorkshire are looking for an Electrical Account Manager to join their team based at their head office in Harrogate. They are a growing and successful company who value their employees to an exceptional standard.They protected their employees during the tough times of COVID, by topping up all wages to 100% and didn't let anyone go. Your new role
Your new role as an Account Manager will be to provide proactive support, manage logistics and keeping on top the the stockroom, being able to use your initiative is key. You will also be responsible for the buying aspect of products whilst working closelywith the site team to identify and select the right process, supplier or component based on quality and cost.
Work closely with key leads to ensure all projects are completed to the highest specification, quality and margin.
- Ensure parts & Materials meet in house quality standards
- Procuring materials at the best possible price
- Stockroom management
- Manage work load in line with business and customer requirements
- Constantly monitor commodity pricing to enable strategic purchasing
- Understands price analysis and can interrogate the Suppliers price to determine value for money
- Desired experience with buyer software

What you'll need to succeed
Being from an electrical background is desired, so you can understand the language of products. You will be able to maintain supply contracts to improve quality and reliability of supply. you will be confident sourcing new suppliers as necessary, Procure ofproducts/components in new products/material or projects.
