An exciting opportunity has come up for an Early Years Practitioner position at Kilcoy**.**

**About us**

At Kilcoy Kindergarten we have a small, friendly team of practitioners who work within our three rooms: Acorns (Babies), Seedlings (Toddlers) and Oak Trees (Pre-school).

We are situated in a renovated Church a couple miles off Tore roundabout with lots of outdoor space which we access daily. We are open from 8am-6pm, 50 weeks out of the year.

Our small room numbers allow to allow our team to get to know their children inside out and provide them with the best possible care. We have a focus on outdoor play and aim to provide daily outdoor opportunities for all ages.

**You should -**
- have experience in working with Children
- be willing to further develop your practice through training and in-house monitoring
- enjoy spending time outdoors
- have a caring nature, a fun attitude and plenty of passion

**Your role will include -**
- Planning and implementing daily play and learning opportunities for all of the children on a group and individual basis to support their interests and developmental needs.
- Be a keyworker to a group of children which will include taking observations, maintaining their folders, completing and reviewing additional paperwork including PS1 forms and chronologies.
- **Take an active role in developing the setting.Meeting and supporting all of the children's needs including nappy changes, bottles, assisting meals, comforting them, proving appropriate play opportunities with a focus on open ended play and loose parts.**
- Contribute to the rooms planning, floor books and evaluation process.
- Keeping the nursery at a high standard of cleanliness
- Attend monthly staff meetings and any relevant training

**Salary**: From £19,344.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- No weekends
