**The Role **Relief Worker (Day)**

As a Relief Worker** **youll play a vital role in making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable and homeless people, by supporting the running of our hostels in either Bangor or Colwyn Bay, contributing to the effective provision of day to day support to the residents. Your main duties will include:

- Safeguarding the physical and emotional health and wellbeing of vulnerable and homeless people residing in the hostel
- Contributing to the organisation and delivery of a range of engagement and involvement activities to promote social inclusion amongst residents
- Ensuring housekeeping tasks are regularly carried out at the hostel
- Maintaining accurate hostel records and resident files
- Responding to and managing any incidents at the hostel appropriately

**Our Requirements **Relief Worker (Days)**
- Superb customer service skills, ideally with experience of working in a face to face customer service / support role
- Ability to communicate in Welsh, **or committed to developing **your Welsh language skills (with our support)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and work effectively with colleagues
- An awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people with the ability to work alone with confidence and good judgement
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
