Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bakery Operatives to join our team. As a Bakery Operative, you will assist in the production and preparation of baked goods, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and taste. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and wants to gain experience in a professional bakery setting.

Responsibilities Include:

- Assist in the production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries and cakes
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings
- Package finished products for display or sale
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary bakery environment
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to HACCP and SALSA standards
- Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure efficient workflow

**Skills**:

- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe quantities
- Knowledge of food production processes and techniques
- Understanding of food safety principles and practices
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and SALSA guidelines
- Mechanical knowledge to operate baking equipment effectively

Rates:
Tier 1: £11.50 P/H - Tier 5 Team Leader: £15.25 P/H
