What will you be doing?
Working with customers at life changing and emotional times requires a sensitive approach, enhanced organisational skills and excellent communication and presentation skills to small and large groups. These are team roles that require confidence, presentation skills, clear legible handwriting, excellent IT skills and the highest attention to detail. Previous experience is desirable; however, full training and support will be given.

These posts do not provide a regular monthly income, payment is claimed for the hours worked and income will vary from month to month and likely decrease during the winter when we have fewer ceremonies.

About you
You will:

- Have the ability to use your own initiative (within set legal parameters)
- Have the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Possess excellent communication and digital skills
- Be able to work with a wide variety of people
- Be able to deliver a customer focused service
- Have the ability to travel to and from over 70 various venues across Cambridgeshire

As a Ceremony Officer you will need to be available to work some weekdays, 2 or 3 Saturdays per month, along with occasional Sundays and Bank Holidays. The work pattern is variable with a high demand for ceremonies in the summer months.
