Garage Supervisor

**The Garage Supervisor Role Will Include**:

- Completing internal paperwork/CRM updates.
- Plan, organize, supervise and coordinate the day-to-day running of the garage.
- Assist in the diagnosis of problems and repairing of vehicles as needed.
- Service/repair/inspect vehicles, trailers and plant to MOT standard.
- Maintain current product knowledge and attend training courses as required.
- Ensure the planned shift workload is completed and/or handed over to next shift.
- Ensure that necessary spare parts, materials and equipment are available or obtainable at short notice.
- Liaison with the Operations Team to ensure vehicles availability for scheduled inspections.
- Any other reasonable duties as workload requires.

**Qualifications**:

- City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
- The ability to organise work on own initiative and work under pressure.
- Experience working with trailers, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
- Experience of diagnostic computers would be an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Having a C+E (Class 1) Licence would be preferred but not essential.

- Good computer skills - previous use of CRM system preferred.
- Effective communicator at all levels.
- To contribute to the department’s strategic vision of the company’s requirements.
