We are looking for a Logistics Oprative to join us at our client site in Central London.
Our client is a leading biomedical research facility who are leading the cause in fighting diseases such as cancer.

As a Logistics Operative you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

**Pay**: £13.74 per hour

**A typical day in the life as a Logistics Operative**:

- Receiving deliveries
- Banksman duties directing vehicles within the loading bay
- Distributing goods / mail to agreed handover points (interaction with Science and non-Science groups
- Waste management and processing in Biological Research Facility (BRF) Waste Room, loading
bay and Clinical Waste Room
- Processing courier / mail deliveries using internal logistics system
- Operation of fork-lift truck & other MHE (training will be provided)
- Maintaining the working environment through general housekeeping

- DS SIA Licence
- Experience of working in a warehouse, waste management or distribution facility
- Committed to providing excellent customer service with ability to communicate confidently
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks with a flexible approach and able to adapt to changing situations

**Desirable skills**:

- Experience of working in a scientific or healthcare environment
- Experience of goods receipting and order processing
