Janitor

**Job Overview**

In your new role as a Janitor you will provide routine housekeeping duties and janitorial tasks to support the effective operations of the schools and to the third party bookings in the evening. This will involve low level maintenance tasks and carrying out minor repairs such as painting, general maintenance of the building including litter picking and cleaning where required.You will also be required to ensure that the rooms in which have been booked by third parties are open and available for use and that the rooms are cleaned after the bookings have finished. You will be responsible for security of the building including the opening and closure of the premises and grounds at prescribed times and also setting of the security alarm. You will prepare rooms and halls for a range of uses, including setting out and removal of furniture for parents evenings and bookings etc.

The hours for this job role are 4 hours per day 20 hours per week, hours are 17.30-21.30 however this will differ depending on the bookings which are in place. You will be required to work overtime every other weekend to accomodate any weekend bookings.
