Driver/carer

Reporting to the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for supporting people in their own homes with every day tasks such as personal care, food preparation, assisting with medication needs, basic domestic tasks etc.

Full time and part time hours available

At 1 Call Care we are seeking enthusiastic Support workers to join our Community Care Team covering the Barry, Penarth or Cardiff areas due to an exciting expansion and company development.

Since opening our doors in April 2020 our team have provided care and support to a wide range of people including physical disabilities, elderly and dementia and palliative care by assisting with meal preparation, incontinence and personal care, medication administration and social support. We work in a person centered approach and pride ourselves on the promotion of independence, allowing the people we support to remain in their own homes, reducing risks and prevention of long term hospital admissions and care home admissions.

We have a good working relationship with district nurses, social workers and other NHS services. Our specialised service is the first point of call because of the exceptional support we deliver. We have a high success rate when supporting people that other services are unable to provide.

1 Call Care is a not-for-profit community interest company. Any profit made is put back into the service to provide a higher standard of care along with rewarding the staff who help us achieve our goals.

Our goal is to change the way social care is delivered and to offer more to the people working hard in the community who have worked so hard in making the community what it is today.

We are currently recruiting for a Driver to carry Carers to addresses around the Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We will also provide full training for as a care worker for occasional visits.

**What we are looking for**:
Full Driving Licence and use of own car with Business Insurance.
