The SDA have an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical/electronic engineer to join our team. You will integrate with teams of highly skilled professionals, getting up-close and personal with complex submarine systems, overseeing engineering challengesunique to this industry whilst significantly impacting project/programme success.

In the SDA you will have unparalleled opportunities to learn and develop as a professional engineer and will be actively supported in this respect. Training is readily available, invested in and essential to stay abreast with new technologies and you willbe working in an environment that encourages this.

**Responsibilities**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Manage the delivery of all engineering aspects in area of responsibility as defined in the assignment specification or objectives including managing the acquisition safety aspects
- Likely to hold a Safety Delegation

**What you will be assessed against**
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or has demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
- Relevant Level 4 (or higher) qualification or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience working with a wide range of stakeholders. Ideally industry, civilian and military
