Catering Assistant

We are a farm that produces our own sausages, bacon and pork products. We have multiple catering kiosks around Devon and Cornwall.

We are looking for a catering assistant to help work at Mole Valley Newton Abbot catering kiosk.

Opening hours will be from 8am-3pm Monday to Saturday, 10-3 on Sundays (not including set up and clean down times.) Working hours TBC and will include weekends

Example of day to day tasks:

- Opening up the trailer in the morning
- Cooking meat to be served for that day
- Preparing vegetables
- Stock management & ordering in the absence of the supervisor
- Maintaining hygiene standards and documentation
- Following correct closing down procedures at the end of the day
- Cash handling

**Requirements**:

- Flexible approach to working hours and practices
- Demonstrate high standards and be well organised
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent customer service skills
- High standard of cleanliness
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety would be an advantage
- Can work well both alone and as part of a team.
- Catering/chef experience would be preferred, but is not essential.
