This is a long term contact with the strong possibility of becoming permanent, and starting immediately if possible and is based in Ealing, West London

The school is committed to removing any boundaries to pupils learning and in this position you will take an active role in supporting and helping students develop their communication, language, social and academic skills, both on a 1-2-1 basis and in small groups.

The school is a large primary based in the heart of Ealing and is easily reachable via public transport. The school has excellent facilities both relating to learning and leisure which support the development of pupils learning and social skills. The school has an inspirational Headteacher who strongly believes in providing the highest level of education to all her pupils across both academic and pastoral realms..

The responsibilities in this role include:
** Working with a mentor to assess communication difficulties for students. This may include discussion with parents to gain information on the child's language and communication.

** Providing active support to school staff and working collaboratively with parents and teachers.

** Contributing to reviews of a child's progress including annual reviews for children who have an EHCP.

This school have high expectations of all staff that work within the school; this individual needs to demonstrate a commitment to education, a caring nature and a desire to make learning fully inclusive for all.
