**Job Description**:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for
**2x transport Clerk **to work out of a National Distribution Centre situated in Ferrybridge, Knottingley, West Yorkshire. This is Working on behalf of our client who specialise in the retail logistics industry and are global leaders in this field.

**1x Position Monday to Friday** Start 04:00am to 12:00 Midday (40hrs)

**1x Position Monday to Friday **Start 12:00 Midday to 20:00pm (40hrs)
The hourly rate is

**Skills & Experience**
Computer literate to include, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Training will be given on inhouse systems
Knowledge of Various LGV Vehicles
Knowledge of Distribution
Good organisation skills with ability to prioritise work
Good communication and telephone skills

**The duties of the role are**:
Aid transport shift managers in directing & controlling resources in the area to meet defined targets
To assist Senior Transport controller to manager & challenge drivers at de-brief
Be fully conversant with all company rules, regs, procedures, processes & policies
To ensure both timely and low-cost deliveries
Ensure Customer Service levels are met
Control Vehicle maintenance
Ensure legal compliance of the transport operation
Sound and efficient planning skills in a fast-moving environment.
Promote equal opportunities culture
Ability to analyse statistical information
A methodical approach combined with attention to administrative detail
Leasing with other sites within the same organisation
Speaking to the planning Team
Action & report defects daily.

**12 week Temp to Permanent, once permanent, wages will change to monthly**
