**Job Description**:
Role Summary

The Reporting Team, within Global Risk, provides reporting services across Russell’s multiple client bases.

This role will be a part of a team tasked with consolidating reporting activities across Russell and implementing a standardised operating model, using in-house and outsourced solutions, to offer consistent high-level service. The reporting specialist will be responsible for the delivery of reports to retail fund client service, institutional client service and investment manager teams and will play an important role in establishing and improving the reporting function.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
Regulatory & Business conduct- Effectively and collaboratively identifying, escalating, mitigating and resolving risk, conduct and compliance.- Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct across the business.

Regular Fund & Client Reporting Production- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.- Reducing error rates and mitigating risks through the adoption of appropriate controls, process documentation and cross training.- Understanding and managing individual & team reporting deadlines, balancing conflicting demands appropriately.- Ensuring responsible governance with reporting processes and ensuring procedures are properly documented and regularly updated.-
- Collaborating with legal/ compliance teams to ensure that reporting content is compliant with industry standards- Assisting in the production of timely and accuracy KPI’s for both internal and external vendor report production.- Working closely with our Data and Performance teams to identify any issues faced by the reporting team.- Actively working within the team to identify non-standard processes across the reporting function with the aim of developing easily scalable, efficient, and automated processes.- Part of the team overseeing the monthly Factsheet production.

Stakeholder and Change Management- Collaborating with business partners to establish reporting standards which ensure efficient production of reports.- Working with sources for data and commentary to positively influence the quality and timeliness of reporting.- Being a "go to" resource for internal clients when considering changes to existing reports or developing new reports.- Proactively setting expectations and managing deadlines for report modifications in line with vendor or internal change SLAs.- Actively supporting key vendor relationships to ensure an appropriate level of service delivery in line with agreed service levels and KPIs.- Be involved in various Reporting projects, for example helping drive the implementation and testing of new QIRs and Regulatory reports.- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Studies or equivalent qualification preferred.- IMC/ related industry qualifications desirable.- Equivalent work experience within the financial services sector, ideally with an Investment Manager.- Familiarity with asset management concepts and reporting structures.- Prior experience in reporting teams for investment management products.- A good understanding of client needs and regional regulatory requirements.- Prior experience owning operational processes and deliverables.- Some experience with project management.- Experience of MiFID II Costs & Charges and KIID reporting desirable.- Demonstrates excellent teamwork and ability to work effectively in a global team across multiple time zones.- Clear and precise written and verbal communication style.- Ability to prioritise business needs and work well under deadline pressures.- Confident interacting with stakeholders across the business at various reporting levels.- Flexibility regarding working hours.- Takes responsibility and ownership of work and decisions
