**About the Role**
- The role will be based from our MRF at Longley Lane, Wythenshawe and on a 4 on 4 off PERMANENT NIGHTS 6pm
- 6am basis.

**What will I be doing as a Maintenance Technician?**
- We’ll look to you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of plant, making sure plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
- At the same time, you’ll be a valued member of the team, supporting colleagues across different functions.
- Our junior staff will look to you for guidance and supervision, as will contractors.

**What are the requirements?**
- To join us in this key position, you’ll have a predominantly Mechanical background with basic Electrical knowledge, ideally with an Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
- You'll have worked / be working in a Maintenance Engineer / Technician role in manufacturing / production engineering environments, having gained hands on knowledge of equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics with anybasic electrical fault finding experience highly beneficial.
- Ideally qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3.
- The ability to use Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
- IOSH is highly desirable, but not essential and can be gained
