**Academic Mentor - Science Graduates**

Experience as an academic mentor is a sensational way to kick-start a career in education. As a Science focussed Academic Mentor you will coach students and provide guidance on a broad range of pastoral as well as academic topics. Being an academic mentor is the ideal role a Science Graduate who has a great academic record showing their commitment to planning, organisation and presenting.

**Academic Mentor **Job Description
- Aid with revision sessions, Uni prep, personal statements & CV formatting
- Working hours are 8:15am to 3:45pm w/ 30min break
- £26,00- per annum (Term Time Only)
- Starting in September 2023
- Work flexibly in support of students from a range of responsibilities and from diverse backgrounds

**Academic Mentor **Person Specification
- Degree educated,
- Experience with children (personal or professional),
- Personable,
- Eager to continue training once onboard,
- Be able to establish good relationships with students to motivate, inspire and support them to achieve success.
- organised and methodical approach to work
