Location: Cambridgeshire (Ely/Chatteris and surrounding area) - hybrid working available to suit the appointee and needs of the Trust or a base at our central office in Chatteris could be an option
Hours:37 hours per week, all year round available - however alternative flexible working arrangements will be considered, including part time and term time working

We are expanding our People Team with the new role of People Adviser. We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced administrator who has a real passion to make a difference on the people agenda. Previous experience in HR is not necessarily required as this is a development role which would suit someone at the beginning of their HR career. You will be fully supported to develop your expertise in HR, through working in a highly experienced team of HR professionals.

The role will involve assisting the People Partner to deliver a high-quality People service to our academies, through the provision of initial HR advice and support and strong HR administration practices.

The Active Learning Trust is a Trust based across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, serving over 9000 children, with 1500 employees. We are a family of 19 academies, supported by a central team and are highly committed to recruiting and retaining talented individuals to work in our academies.
