**Purpose**

To work as part of a team providing hands on support and training to disabled adults participating in the Shaw Trust service. This is in a variety of areas within the garden centre and café, including but not limited to:

- Customer Service
- Production Horticulture
- Cafe Activity
- Grounds/Garden Maintenance

Support planning, recording of progress and supporting the development of the site and activity as well as maintaining a safe working environment for the participants and yourself.

This is currently fixed term for 6 months and is 12 hours over two days, specifically Tuesdays and Fridays. With potential for extension and expansion of days.

**Essential**:
You will have:

- Working towards (or willingness to work towards) NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of computer software packages particularly those in the Microsoft Suite i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Working towards or willingness to work towards Health & Social Care Level 2 and TSI (Training in Systematic Instruction)
