Are you a Healthcare Assistant working in a **GP surgery**

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant and Phlebotomist to join our friendly team. We are looking for 20 hours a week. We are a 5200 patient surgery in Thames Ditton with 3 doctors, trainee doctor and a practice nurse.
- At least 6 months experience in a GP surgery within the last two years is needed
- Experience in Phlebotomy

The post-holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the practice as part of this employment, such training to include:

- Running well person clinics and health promotion programmes by providing a holistic assessment
- Carrying out simple dressings under the indirect supervision of the practice nurse.
- Document Consultations on the computer
- Perform venepuncture - Phlebotomy
- Suture removal.
- Ensure infection control guidelines are maintained.
- Ability to monitor and manage maintenance of stock and equipment to include refrigeration and
- Administration pf Flu, Pneumococcal and Shingles vaccination
- Administration of B12 injection

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.37-£14.91 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week

Schedule:

- Flexitime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thames Ditton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
