Breakfast Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team at the Abergavenny Hotel. The role of breakfast assistant will include the following duties:

- Opening up the hotel in the morning and greeting guests when they come for breakfast
- Setting up a continental breakfast and ensuring everything is replenished regularly throughout breakfast service
- Clearing breakfast items away and ensuring the kitchen/communal areas are thoroughly cleaned each day
- Checking guests out of the hotel and processing payments
- Creating bookings, taking phone calls and dealing with enquiries when necessary
- Receiving deliveries and managing stock levels
- Liaising with housekeeping staff throughout the morning
- Completing weekly cleaning tasks

You will be working as part of a small team, so the ability to work independently and in an organised manner is essential. We pride ourselves on offering an excellent level of friendly, personal customer service to everyone who comes to the hotel, whether they are regular guests or staying with us for the first time.

A flexible approach to hours and overtime is essential, however we estimate the role to average around 24 hours per week. If you are reliable, have a strong work ethic and great interpersonal skills, we'd love to hear from you

**Salary**: £8.64-£10.43 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
