Golf Club Operative

**About us**

Sidmouth Golf Club is an historic golf club dating back over 125 years, and is located on Peak Hill overlooking the town. The clubhouse offers beautiful views and a relaxing environment for visitors and members to enjoy a drink or meal before or after a round of golf. The club also hosts various functions and events throughout the year.

Typical tasks that will require undertaking are cash handling, serving the needs of our members and dealing with enquiries for individuals wishing to join our Club.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and a customer service ethic to ensure the members and guests are the focus of their work. Some previous experience of bar work is preferred, but is not essential as training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Be organized and detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.49-£11.00 per hour

- Sidmouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
