Industrial Buyer

Purchasing of Industrial components. Flexibility is important in achieving overall team performance.

Supply chains include Castings, mechanical components, seals, motors, diesel engines, couplings and fabrications. SAP or equivalent ERP experience is beneficial.
- Supplier on-time performance
- Commercial negotiation of purchases and frame-work contracts
- Quality development and NCR resolution
- KPI monitoring techniques
- New Supplier research & optional visits
- Inventory planning and expediting to optimise performance
- Raising Purchase orders

Training and development will be given to the right person, from an industrial background, with a passion learn.... A keen Junior / Trainee would be also be considered.

- Purchasing or Planning: 1 year (preferred)
- Industrial Office Environment: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Office & Excel: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Maths GCSE Qualification (preferred)
