Outdoor Nursery Edinburgh offers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 0-5 years of age. We have a passion for outdoor learning and are based in Liberton, Edinburgh.

**Job overview**
The job role requires you to be part of a pro-active and responsible staff team. You will be involved in planning and setting up activities to help children with their learning, development and growth in a stimulating environment.
Funding for training is available from Skills Development Scotland for applicants aged 16-19, 20-24 and from April 2018 this will be available to other age groups. (16-29 for applicants who are disabled or care experienced).
**What might a typical day in this job look like?**
You will be responsible for the safety and day to day care of babies and young children, where they are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. You will also help children learn and develop their physical, intellectual, language and social skills through organised play.
**What will I learn?**
The course takes approximately 15-18 months to complete, depending on the individual. You will qualify with an SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 7 and will graduate as a fully qualified Childcare Practitioner.
**What qualification or qualities are required?**
No experience is necessary, however good communication skills are essential. The successful applicant should be enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and a desire to work with babies and young children.
