Warehouse Supervisor

Our growing client in Oswestry are recruiting for a new Supervisor to manage their team of Warehouse operatives in this busy and fast-paced, customer focussed storage and distribution centre. You will need to have led a team in warehouse environment previously and be a competent stock controller and PC literate. This is an exciting business to work in, they handle a great variety of stock for some really interesting customers. They provide a great place to work with a really friendly team of people.

**The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for**:

- Responsible for a small team of warehouse operatives
- Overseeing the training and development of the team
- Reporting to the warehouse manager and carrying out any additional duties
- Manage and liaise with HR on employee relation issues
- Maintain company standard for health, safety and quality
- Allocate jobs to operative and ensure targets are met
- Ensure the team are working and performing to standards and addressing any non-conformances
- Receiving and despatching goods in an efficient manner to meet customer expectations
- Maintain clean and safe working environment
- Provide regular updated to the Warehouse manager on progress and performance
- Be flexible to alter shifts where applicable

**Skills and Experience required**:

- Previously supervised a team in a warehouse environment
- Computer literate and a quick learner
- Proactive at improving processes
- High attention to detail and strong communicator
- Full driving license
- Forklift truck license
